Paul Pietsch

Paul Pietsch (June 20, 1911 – May31, 2012) was a German racing driver, journalist, and publisher. In addition to making three Formula 1 starts from 1950 to 1952, Pietsch is also known for founding German car magazine Das Auto, currently known as Auto Motor und Sport, and publishing company Motor Presse Stuttgart.

Union Glashütte

Union Glashütte announced the Noramis Paul Pietsch Special Edition in 2022. They were licensed through the brand’s official partnership with the Paul Pietsch Classic, which was established 2016 according to a brand representative.

The special edition was available in four versions: A chronograph or three-hander, in either a silver of anthracite dial. All feature rivet and sheet metal-inspired dial details, plus a large red “12” as a nod to racing numbers of Pietsch’s era.
