PHILIPP PLEIN was founded by Philipp Plein in 1998 in Munich, Germany as a luxury goods brand. Plein has described his brand as “haute couture with elements of glamorous gothic”. Plein entered the watch industry with PHILIPP PLEIN TIMEPIECES, which was launched in late 2021 with the Timex Group.
Eddie Jordan
Jordan Grand Prix founder Eddie Jordan was announced as the official testimonial and face of PHILIPP PLEIN TIMEPIECES on the brand’s social media account on December 11, 2022. Jordan appeared in the $keleton Phantom Watch marketing campaign, along with an image of a PHILIPP PLEIN-branded open-wheel racing car.
The partnership did not produce a Jordan Grand Prix or Eddied Jordan edition watch.
