Paul Picot

Société des Montres Paul Picot SA was founded in 1976 by Italian entrepreneur Mario Boiocchi, and is currently based in Le Noirmont, Switzerland.

Monza Autodrome

An exclusive contract with the Monza Circuit was signed by Paul Picot in 1997, and the Chrono Monza Pole Position was launched at the 68th running of the Monza Grand Prix. According to the News Sponsoring section in the January 1998 issue of Europa Star, the chronograph was intended to be given to Formula 1 polesitters.

The chronograph appears to have been available with either a black or white dial, with the circuit’s logo featuring on both versions.

Ben Spies

Paul Picot signed then-reigning World Superbike champion Ben Spies starting at the Japanese Grand Prix in 2010, the Texan’s first season in the premier class. To commemorate the partnership, the Paul Picot C-Type Plongeur 48 Ben Spies Limited Edition was released with a production run of 111 pieces. His “11” logo features prominently on the dial, along with a brake rotor design framing the seconds subdial.
