Chronotech is an Italian watch company based in Milan, Italy. The brand was launched around 1999 by the Time Force group.
Since 2011, it has been a subsidiary of the Binda Group, an Italian watch, jewellery, and leather accessories corporate group founded in 1906 by Innocente Binda. Other companies owned by the Binda Group include Breil, Hip Hop Watches, Feelo, and Wyler Vetta.
Mild Seven Renault F1: Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella
While under the Global Watch Industries group at the time, Chronotech was announced as a sponsor of the Mild Seven Renault F1 team in early 2005.
Between then and 2006, a variety of limited edition team watches were released. One notable model was the Chronotech Renault F1 Team R26 Steering Wheel watch, which was modeled after the 2006 Formula 1 championship winning R26. Another example was the Dual Face Renault F1 Team (ref. CT7697J/01) which featured an analog front and a digital back.
Chronotech has also released limited editions commemorating individual F1 race wins and podium finishes by both Fernando Alonso and teammate Giancarlo Fisichella.

ING Renault F1
Chronotech remained with the team after ING took over as Renault’s title sponsor in 2007. Ref. CT7972M/02 has been mentioned by Chronotech as a notable model in a press release following the 2008 Singapore Grand Prix.
The Italian brand parted ways with ING Renault F1 at the end of the 2008 season, with TW Steel taking up the role of Official Timing Partner in a late 2009 announcement.
