Miguel Ângelo Falcão de Oliveira (born January 4, 1995) is a Portuguese MotoGP rider. He has raced in the premier class of Grand Prix motorcycle racing since 2019, and currently has a career total of five wins and two additional podiums.
Red Bull KTM Tech3
Oliveira made his debut in the MotoGP class with Red Bull KTM Tech3 in 2019. It was the French team’s first season with KTM machinery, having been partnered with Yamaha since the team’s first season in the premier class in 2001. Despite having an opportunity to replace Johann Zarco at the KTM factory team for 2020, Oliveira elected to stay with Tech3 for a second season and scored his first two MotoGP wins.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing
The Portuguese rider was promoted to KTM’s factory team for 2021. He scored three wins and two additional podiums over the course of the two seasons he spent with the team, but mixed results meant finishing 14th and 10th in the overall standings.
Aprilia Satellite Teams
Oliveira spent his next two seasons on satellite Aprilia machinery, first with RNF Racing in 2023 and Trackhouse Racing in 2024. His best result on an Aprilia RS-GP was a 4th place finish at the 2023 British motorcycle Grand Prix.
Prima Pramac Yamaha
Pramac Racing and Oliveira both switched to Yamaha for 2025.
Fludo
Swiss brand Fludo formed a partnership with Oliveira in 2013, while the Portuguese rider was in the Moto3 class. The partnership has remained intact since, with a Miguel Oliveira edition appearing in the brand’s Grand Prix Collection. Fludo also celebrated Oliveira’s 25th birthday with the F50 MO88 limited edition chronograph, which was limited to 25 pieces and announced in early 2020.
