Bianchet was founded in 2017 by the husband and wife team of Rodolfo Festa Bianchet and Emmanuelle Festa Bianchet. Based in Switzerland, the brand is known for being the first watchmaking company to base their watch movements on the Fibonacci sequence and golden ratio.
The first Bianchet prototype was showcased at Baselworld 2019, with their first release being the Tourbillon B 1.618 Openwork Carbon. In 2023, Bianchet won the prize for Best Start-Up Watch at the Temporis International Awards with the Flying Tourbillon Grande Date.
First Motorsport Partnership: Formula E
Bianchet stepped into the motorsport world for the first time in 2024 as a partner of the Maserati MSG Racing Formula E team. The deal yielded two limited editions of the Bianchet x Maserati MSG Racing Flying Tourbillon Grande Date B 1.618, with a run of 21 pieces each.
On October 8, 2024, Bianchet also announced German-Austrian racing driver and Formula 2 podium finisher Maximilian Günther as a brand ambassador.
Esteban Ocon
Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon was announced as a Bianchet brand ambassador on March 11, 2025. The French driver had been spotted wearing a Bianchet Flying Tourbillon Sport GMT at the F1 75 Live gala, which occurred on February 18 of the same year. Ocon raced for the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team in 2025, a team that had previously partnered with Richard Mille and Cyrus.
According to brand manager Gregorio Festa Bianchet, Ocon owns several Bianchet models, including an Ultrafino Tonnueau Carbon Red with customized elements:
The customization is intentionally very discreet: the barrel cover and the crown are finished in red, while the rest of the watch stays true to the standard reference. Subtle by design, which suits Esteban’s taste.
Ocon’s personal collection also includes a standard Ultrafino Rotondo Carbon Red, Ultrafino Tonneau Titanium Skeleton Blue, and a Sport GMT Carbon Red.
