Grand Prix Watches was created to provide accessible, well-researched information on licensed motorsport timepieces. As a Formula 1 fan, former part-time MotoGP photographer, and lifelong watch enthusiast, I was surprised to discover in early 2024 that no comprehensive resource on the topic existed. Researching these watches often proved challenging due to fragmented information, so I began building this archive to streamline the process for enthusiasts, journalists, and historians.
The site currently offers a broad overview of brands and racers through the lens of officially licensed watches. Detailed archives of individual models are in development and will be added over time.
