Marc Surer (born September 18, 1951) is a Swiss former racing driver who competed in Formula 1 from 1979 to 1986. He has driven for Ensign, Team ATS, Theodore Racing, Arrows, and Brabham, with a total of 11 points-scoring finishes during his career.
Buler
Surer had some form of visible association with Buler during his time with Formula 1, with the Swiss brand’s logo appearing on his helmet and racing suit from 1980 to 1983. A number of Buler-branded promotional stickers can still be found on various online listings, with one in particular that featured Surer from 1980 that includes a reproduction of his signature.
A Buler digital watch with Surer’s printed signature on the dial can still be found from an expired Ricardo.ch listing, which features what appears to be a reproduction of the same signature graphic from the sticker. The match strongly suggests it may have been released within the context of Surer’s time in Formula 1, although relevant details are not well documented.
