Robergé was founded in 1972 by Robert Mouawad. The brand name is an amalgamation of the founder’s first name Robert and Geneva, where it was established.
As of January 1st, 2010, the brand has been in the care of Mouawad’s three sons Fred, Alain, and Pascal.
Eddie Jordan and Damon Hill
During Formula 1 pre-season testing at Silverstone on February 23, 1998, Alain Mouawad was photographed in the Jordan Grand Prix garage presenting Robergé Andromède II chronographs to Eddie Jordan and driver Damon Hill. The occasion was documented in the News Sponsoring section of the April 1998 issue of Europa Star as well as in the 8/98 issue of Revue FH. Additional details and context are currently unknown.
