Ducati entered the MotoGP class in 2003, operating under the brand’s racing arm, Ducati Corse. The Italian brand has previously made sporadic appearances on the 500cc motorcycle Grand Prix grid.
Breil was a sponsor of the Marlboro Ducati team, and released Ducati Corse editions as well as a Loris Capirossi signature edition.
Breil's parent company Binda Group signed a partnership with Ducati to produce Ducati Corse timepieces. Geneva Watch Group, which was also acquired by Binda Group in 2008, has Ducati Corse in its current brand portfolio.
Ducati has also partnered with Locman Italy (2017-2019) and Bulgari (2022) to release co-branded watches. While neither partnership appeared to involve Ducati Corse, the MotoGP team was featured in the marketing of both.
