Marc Mrquez (born February 17, 1993) is Grand Prix motorcycle racer and nine time world champion, with seven of his titles in the premier class in 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2025. His first 11 seasons in MotoGP were spent with Repsol Honda before switching to a Ducati with Gresini Racing in 2024, followed by a move to the Ducati Lenovo Team in 2025. Mrquez is the third ever Spanish 500cc/MotoGP world champion after Àlex Crivillé and Jorge Lorenzo.
Formula 1 Test
Márquez has had a taste of Formula 1 when he tested a Red Bull Racing RB8 in 2018 alongside his teammate at the time, Dani Pedrosa. Both were coached by former F1 driver Mark Webber.
Lotus
Mrquez began his MotoGP career in 2013 as an ambassador of the Spanish watch brand Lotus, with its logo featuring on his helmet through the end of 2016. During that time, a number of Marc Mrquez edition timepieces were released which featured his racing number 93 on the dial or strap.
Tissot
Tissot, the long time Official Timekeeper of MotoGP, signed Mrquez in 2018 and announced the Marc Marquez Tissot T-Race Limited Edition that same year. The Spaniard’s 2018 debut Tissot chronograph was limited to 4,999 pieces and like many before came in a helmet-shaped box. Additional models have since followed in 2019, 2020, and 2022.
