Watch Brands Connected to Both Formula 1 and MotoGP

Few watch brands have managed to make their mark in both Formula 1 and MotoGP. This short list highlights the brands that have been officially connected to both series to some capacity, whether through sponsorships, team and racer editions, or roles as official timekeepers.

For simplicity, “MotoGP” will include all premier class motorcycle Grand Prix seasons.

Casio

F1 Involvement: Williams, Honda F1, Rothmans Honda, Red Bull Racing, David Coulthard, Sebastian Vettel, Toro Rosso/AlphaTauri
MotoGP Involvement: Kawasaki MotoGP, Suzuki MotoGP
Quick Note: G-Shock is the only Casio line that has been involved with both two and four-wheeled Grand Prix racing.

Certina

F1 Involvement: Sauber-Petronas Formula 1, Robert Kubica, Pedro de la Rosa
MotoGP Involvement: Mick Doohan, Àlex Crivillé, Official Timekeeper of Grand Prix motorcycle racing
Quick Note: Certina was also a long time sponsor of Thomas Lüthi prior to stepping up to the MotoGP class.

Enicar

F1 Involvement: Stirling Moss, Jim Clark, Gerhard Mitter
MotoGP Involvement: Geoff Duke

Hublot

MotoGP Involvement: Esponsorama/Reale Avintia Racing MotoGP (sponsorship only)
Quick Note: While Hublot has previously sponsored a MotoGP team, no licensed timepieces resulted from the partnership.

Quick Note: Valentino Ross became an ambassador of the brand in 2022, although no signature watch has been released.

Longines

F1 Involvement: Official Timekeeper of Formula 1, Scuderia Ferrari, Team Renault
MotoGP Involvement: Official Timekeeper of Grand Prix motorcycle racing
Quick Note: Longines has the special distinction as the only watch brand to date that has served an Official Timekeeper role in both F1 and MotoGP.

Quick Note: Omologato also has partnerships with a number of Grand Prix circuits, including ones that have historically hosted both F1 and MotoGP events.
