Tony Brooks

Charles Anthony Standish “Tony” Brooks (February 25, 1932 – May 3 2022) was a British racing driver who competed in Formula 1 from 1956 to 1961. Brooks has raced for BRM, Vanwall, Ferrari, and BRP, and a career total of six Grand Prix wins and four additional podiums.

Christopher Ward

Brooks and Sir Stirling Moss had shared the race-winning Vanwall VW5 at the 1957 British Grand Prix, scoring the first ever home win by a British constructor. To commemorate the achievement, Christopher Ward released the Limited Edition C70 VW4 Chronometer in 2013. The names of both drivers featuring on the case back along with “First All British World Championship Race Win 1957”. The winning car’s number 20 features at the 12 o’clock position on the British racing green dial.
