Thomas Lüthi (born September 6, 1986) is a Swiss former motorcycle racer who competed in MotoGP in 2018, with Marc VDS on Honda machinery alongside Franco Morbidelli. Lüthi is also the 2005 125cc world champion.
Certina
Prior to stepping up to MotoGP, Lüthi was sponsored by Certina from 2001 to 2007, including his 2005 world title triumph and his first season in the 250cc World Championship. To commemorate his 125cc title, Certina released the Certina C Sport “Lüthi Special” Limited Edition with a limited run of 1,986 pieces.
Tissot
Lüthi has also been sponsored by Tissot, the current Official Timekeeper of MotoGP. Rider edition T-Race models were released for Lüthi every year from 2009 to 2020, including 2018 while competing full time in the premier class.
