Sebastian Vettel

Sebastian Vettel (born July 3, 1987) is a German four-time Formula 1 world champion with 53 wins and 122 podiums to his name.

Early Formula 1 Experience

Vettel’s F1 debut came at the 2006 Turkish Grand Prix with the BMW Sauber team, when he became the then-youngest driver to participate in a Grand Prix weekend and immediately set another record when he collected his first fine just nine seconds into his career. After signing with BMW again for 2007 as a test driver, Vettel was released from his contract to replace Scott Speed at Scuderia Toro Rosso starting at the 2007 Hungarian Grand Prix.

Full Time Formula 1 Career

Vettel’s first and only full season with Red Bull Racing‘s junior team came the following year, when he immediately scored his first F1 win at a wet 2008 Italian Grand Prix in the Toro Rosso STR3. Vettel drove for Red Bull Racing from 2009 to 2014, collecting all four of his four world titles with the Austrian team in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

He replaced Fernando Alonso at Scuderia Ferrari in 2015 and twice finished runner-up with the legendary Italian team in 2017 and 2018. Vettel spent his final two years in F1 with Aston Martin, making his last podium appearance at the 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix and retiring after the end of the 2022 season.

Casio Edifice Sebastian Vettel Editions

During Vettel’s time with Red Bull Racing, Casio released several Sebastian Vettel edition timepieces within their Edifice line. Examples include the EQW-A1110SV and EF-535SVSP, both of which feature Vettel’s logo on the dial.

Association with Hublot

Vettel represented Hublot during his time as a Scuderia Ferrari driver. While Hublot did not release driver edition timepieces during their partnership with Ferrari, the Big Bang Ferrari 1000 GP models each came with a watch winder and a pair of driving gloves signed by Vettel and then-teammate Charles Leclerc.

Association with Girard-Perregaux

The last watch brand that Vettel was associated with as an F1 driver was Girard-Perregaux, during his final two seasons with Aston Martin. No driver edition watch was produced.
