Ralf Schumacher

Ralf Schumacher (born June 30, 1975) is a German former racing driver who raced in Formula 1 from 1997 until 2007. He has raced for Jordan Grand Prix, Williams, and Toyota, and has a career total of 6 Grand Prix wins and 21 additional podiums. He is the younger brother of Michael Schumacher.

Jordan Grand Prix

After a 1996 Formula 1 test with McLaren, Schumacher signed a three-year deal to race for Jordan Grand Prix. Racing alongside Giancarlo Fisichella, he scored his first podium in his debut season at the 1997 Argentine Grand Prix with two additional podiums in 1998. However, this led to Schumacher terminating his contract one year early, stemming from the strain of team orders that favored his 1998 teammate Damon Hill.

Williams

Schumacher signed with Williams after his early exit from Jordan Grand Prix and immediately scored a third place finish at the 1999 season opener in Australia. He remained with the team until 2004, achieving all six of his F1 wins and finishing a career best 4th overall on two occasions.

Toyota

Schumacher’s final three seasons in Formula 1 was spent with Toyota, with Jarno Trulli as his teammate during his time with the Japanese team.

Ambassador for Omega

Along with his brother Michael, the younger Schumacher was associated with Omega during the 1990s. While no signature model was made for him, he did appear in an ad for the Omega Dynamic Chronograph.

BMW Williams Fashion Watches

During its first few years of operating as the BMW WilliamsF1 Team, the British outfit had no formal watch sponsor but a number of white label team watches were sold during that time. At least one model appeared to be associated with Schumacher, which featured the words “Ralf Schumacher NO 500” on the case back.

Oris

Oris began a long term partnership with Williams in 2003, and signed Schumacher as a brand ambassador in 2004. This was followed by the Oris Chronograph Ralf Schumacher (ref. 673 7561 70 64 RS), which was limited to 3,004 pieces. The dial featured Schumacher’s logo and racing number on the dial, a reproduction of his signature on the red rotor, and shipped with a Ralf Schumacher hat.
