Jarno Trulli

Jarno Trulli (born July 13, 1974) is an Italian former racing driver who competed in Formula One from 1997 to 2011. Trulli has stood on the podium a total of 11 times, including one win.

Minardi and Prost

Trulli made his Formula One debut in 1997 with Minardi, and replaced an injured Olivier Panis at Prost Grand Prix starting at the French Grand Prix. He stayed with the French team for two more seasons, and scored his first F1 podium with a 2nd place finish at the 1999 European Grand Prix.

Jordan Grand Prix

The Italian driver spent 2000 and 2001 with Jordan Grand Prix, with mixed results. While he never scored a podium with the Irish team, Trulli had a few fourth place finishes and finished inside the top 10 drivers’ standings in both seasons.

Renault

Trulli spent the next three years with Renault, alongside Jenson Button in 2002 and Fernando Alonso in 2003 and 2004. He finished on the podium twice in addition to scoring his first and only F1 win at the 2004 Monaco Grand Prix. His results dropped off over the course of the season, and he was replaced by Jacques Villeneuve for the final three rounds.

Toyota

An agreement to race for Toyota was already in place when Trulli’s season with Renault came to an early end, and was allowed to race for his new team at the final two rounds of 2004. Trulli would race for Toyota from 2005 until 2009, with Ralf Schumacher, Timo Glock, and Kamui Kobayashi as his teammates over the years. The Italian scored seven top three finished with Toyota, which included what turned out to be his final F1 podium at the 2009 Japanese Grand Prix.

Lotus

Trulli spent the final two F1 seasons with Lotus in 2010 and 2011, but failed to score any points. After Lotus was renamed as Caterham F1 for 2012, Trulli participated in one pre-season test but ultimately did not race for the team.

Audemars Piguet

The Italian driver was signed as a brand ambassador by Audemars Piguet in 2008, and the Royal Oak Offshore Jarno Trulli Limited Edition (ref. 26202AU.OO.D002CA.01) was launched during the 2010 Japanese Grand Prix weekend. The exclusive chronograph had a limited run of 300 pieces.

Other Formula One drivers with Royal Oak Offshore models named after them include Michael Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, Juan Pablo Montoya, and later Sebastien Buemi.
