Strom

Strom was founded in 2008 by watchmaker and industry veteran Daniel Strom, son of Armin Strom. Daniel had helped his father form the brand Armin Strom in 2006, itself built on the foundation of Strom Swiss Prestige Timepieces AG” which the younger Strom had incorporated in 2004.

Daniel had previously worked for Omega, and had notably worked on the first two Michael Schumacher edition Speedmaster models. Strom remains independent, and is currently run by his wife Rosanna, and their children Loris and Alexia.

Jo Vonlanthen is an ambassador of Strom, which has created two Jo Vonlanthen edition Cruizer quartz chronographs. Limited to 60 pieces each, both feature the Swiss driver’s helmet-themed logo on the dial and were made exclusively available through Vonlanthen himself or for sale at the Swiss Formula 1 Museum.
