Cyrus is based in Le Locle, Switzerland and was founded in 2010 by a Swiss entrepreneurial family with an extensive background of global luxury brands. The family has partnered with Swiss master watchmaker Jean-Francois Mojon, who founded Chronode in 2005 and has worked with companies like Czapek, HYT, MB&F, and Urban Jürgensen. Cyrus remains independently owned.

Partnership with Haas F1

A year without a watch sponsor after their Richard Mille deal ended in 2020, the Haas F1 team partnered with Cyrus for the 2022 Formula 1 season. While Cyrus did not produce any Haas F1 or F1 edition watches, driver Mick Schumacher was seen wearing a Cyrus Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon. Their logo also appeared alongside a series of other sponsors on the sidepod of the Haas VF-22.
