Chronoforce – Grand Prix Watches

Chronoforce was founded in 2005 by a team of watch designers and extreme sports specialists. The brand’s tagline is “Speed and Adventure Instruments”, and appears to have a pronounced popularity in Southeast Asia based on their social media presence.

Carlos Checa

500cc/MotoGP veteran Carlos Checa was a Chronoforce brand ambassador in 2007, his last full season in the premier class of Grand Prix motorcycle racing. Whether or not this involved a partnership with LCR Honda is unclear.

Randy de Puniet

Immediately after leaving the G-Shock-sponsored factory Kawasaki MotoGP team, Randy de Puniet became a brand ambassador for Chronoforce in 2008 and 2009, his first two years with LCR Honda. The French rider remained on the Chronoforce website’s front page through at least October of 2010.

LCR Honda MotoGP Team

Chronoforce was the Official Watch Partner of the LCR Honda MotoGP Team during the 2009 and 2010 seasons. A number of LCR Honda edition models were released, including a Stunner II limited edition that had a production run of 450 pieces. Most featured the LCR Honda logo on the dial.

JiR Moto2

Chronoforce had also released a JiR Moto2 edition model at some point during the team’s time in the intermediate class. Details are not well documented.

IodaRacing Project

Chronoforce was announced as a global sponsor of the IodaRacing Project World Superbike team in 2016. The team’s riders that season were Lorenzo Savadori and Alex de Angelis, who have both since competed in MotoGP. IodaRacing Project had also entered MotoGP as a Claiming Rules Team in 2012, and remained in the premier class until 2015.
